Prayer Power

Prayer Power

Never underestimate the time spent in prayer. In the articles entitled “Missionary Trip to Kenya, Africa” (Part I and Part II) I shared about miraculous events that happened during our trip to Kenya. These events were a direct result of prayer. As Paul says in 2 Cor. 1:11:

"You also joining in helping us through your prayers, that thanksgiving may be given by many persons on our behalf for the favor bestowed upon us through the prayers of many."
Communion with God is one of the most powerful weapons we have. It is here that we are changed from glory to glory. It is here we take on His heart and His burdens. It is here that our faith and trust is built up because we come to know the true character and nature of our God.
Once we understand who God is and who we are in Christ, we rise up in defiance against the enemy (Satan) and his wicked schemes. And we speak and stand in authority. To pray fervently and effectively is not just to pray in quantity, but to pray with strategy and understanding. To pull down and destroy the schemes the evil one has devised to thwart the will of God from being established in the earth.

It is our heart’s desire to see His kingdom come be established on the earth and His will be done.
